WATCH: CM Punk’s Iconic WWE Pipebomb Promo Reimagined For WWE 2K26

CM Punk has recreated his iconic ‘Pipe Bomb’ promo with a modern twist for WWE 2K26.

With only three days to go for the official release of the WWE 2K26 Standard Edition, the company promoted the video game with cover star and reigning World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk recreating his iconic 2011 “Pipe Bomb” promo. After teasing it over the past week, WWE has released the full version on its official X/Twitter account.

CM Punk wore the same black “Straight Edge” shirt and white wrist tape while sitting cross-legged as he did in the original promo. However, he made some changes, including not addressing Colt Cabana, saying he “was” a Paul Heyman Guy, naming Roman Reigns instead of Brock Lesnar, and not name-dropping Vince McMahon.

CM Punk achieved many of the accolades he initially complained about

CM Punk had complained about not being on collector cups, the cover of the programs, and the WrestleMania posters in the original Pipe Bomb. However, he acknowledges the fact that he has achieved all of them in the recreation.

“I’m on your lovely little collector cups, I’m on the cover of the program. I am on the poster of WrestleMania, I am the WWE 2K26 cover athlete as I should be. I am no longer silenced (referring to his mic getting cut off during the original promo). You all have to acknowledge me. I am the Best in the World, and the show never stops,” CM Punk said.

CM Punk is set to main event night two of WrestleMania 42 next month. He will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against the 2026 men’s Royal Rumble winner, Roman Reigns.
