Tonight’s TNA No Surrender featured a surprise return in the form of a “fired” star making a big statement.
During the pay-per-view’s main event, which featured a tag team match between Leon Slater and Mike Santa and Nic Nemeth and Eddie Edwards, Steve Maclin returned. Maclin was one of four stars to retrieve a briefcase in TNA’s first Feast or Fired match of 2026, and unfortunately got the “fired” case.
Maclin didn’t get the message, though, and once again came after Santana tonight. He interrupted the match and went after Santana, leading to a massive brawl through the crowd. The pair’s sudden feud comes after Maclin “left” the company last week.
On his way out, he and Santana seemed to share a heartfelt message, with Santana calling Maclin selfless. Instead of thanking him, Maclin attacked Santana, and said the issue is he’s too selfless. Just what the future holds for Maclin is unclear as of now. At least for the time being, it seems like he won’t actually be leaving TNA anytime soon, as recent reports suggested that he has already been extended with the company.
