Seth Rollins seems to have teased his WWE return.
Former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins recently appeared on Good Morning Football. During the interview, Rollins got out of his chair and delivered a punch to Manti Te’o’s face.
Of course, Rollins’ punch was worked, but the caption for the clip on GMFB’s Instagram didn’t focus on Te’o’s questionable selling — it highlighted the Architect’s WWE status instead.
“@wwerollins looks like he’s ready to get back in the ring,” GMFB posted.
Rollins has been sidelined with a torn rotator cuff he suffered during his Champion vs. Champion match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel last year. The former World Champion was written off television through an angle in which The Vision kicked him out of the faction.
WWE’s WrestleMania plans for Seth Rollins revealed
A recent report suggested WWE plans to have Seth Rollins face Bron Breakker at WrestleMania 42. However, the match is currently uncertain after Breakker suffered a hernia during a chaotic segment on last week’s RAW.
Paul Heyman confirmed Breakker’s medical status on RAW this week. With Breakker out of action, Austin Theory competed for the opportunity to enter the Elimination Chamber in a triple threat match against LA Knight and Penta.
The closing moments of the match saw a masked individual attack Theory, hitting him with a Curb Stomp. LA Knight capitalized on the distraction, planting Theory with a Blunt Force Trauma for the win.
