New reports have shared more details about Bron Breakker’s injury and his status after WWE RAW.
Bron Breakker recently had surgery for a hernia. Breakker appeared on the February 2 episode of RAW, angry about his quick Royal Rumble elimination. There, a masked attacker jumped him, and Oba Femi eliminated him.
Breakker destroyed equipment at ringside and flipped the announce table, which worsened his injury and led to surgery. Reports revealed he injured himself during last week’s RAW while flipping over the announce table during a chaotic ringside segment.
WWE has not confirmed whether Breakker will be ready in time for WrestleMania 42. However, reports reveal that WWE is still hopeful he could return and face his rumored opponent, Seth Rollins, at the Grandest Stage of them All.
This week on WWE RAW, it was confirmed that Breakker is now off the road, stating that he was injured while training to maintain kayfabe. New reports from PWInsider have provided more details on Breakker’s hernia situation.
New backstage update on Bron Breakker’s status
PWInsider.com reported that a word backstage on WWE RAW had been going around that Bron Breakker had been dealing with a hernia before last week’s show. WWE only decided he needed surgery after his appearance on RAW.
The report also confirmed that Breakker’s booking in the 2026 Royal Rumble had nothing to do with the injury. WWE originally planned his Royal Rumble performance to begin his road to WrestleMania. However, those plans changed after he required surgery.
As a result, WWE adjusted his creative direction. For now, Breakker remains sidelined as WWE waits to see how his recovery progresses.
