Seth Rollins isn’t officially back on WWE programming yet. Despite that, WWE already has plans for him to face a top name at WrestleMania.
Rollins is rehabbing his shoulder injury in the hopes of making it back for WrestleMania 42. According to a report from F4WOnline.com (via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter), Seth Rollins is set to face Bron Breakker at WrestleMania in Las Vegas.
According to the report, the belief is that this will pay off WWE’s masked man angle. The masked man showed up last year, and it was played off like it was Rollins. The reveal showed Austin Theory under the mask as the latest member of The Vision. The angle re-started at the 2026 Royal Rumble, with the attacker playing a big role in the match. The masked assailant attacked Breakker at the beginning of the Royal Rumble match, dropping him with a curb stomp. This set up Oba Femi’s quick elimination of Breakker.
It wasn’t Rollins under the mask last weekend (a report suggests it was another WWE star), but fans are supposed to believe it was him.
WWE has not formally announced the match. However, F4W’s Dave Meltzer says “the match has been confirmed to be on the schedule for the show.”
Ahead of the Royal Rumble, Seth Rollins told ESPN’s Mike Greenberg that he wasn’t sure if his shoulder was healthy enough to get in the ring at the Royal Rumble, but teased that “we’re on track to return sometime sooner rather than later.”
