HOOK has revealed the moment he realized that professional wrestling was the perfect hybrid of his two biggest passions.
During a recent appearance on Busted Open, All Elite Wrestling’s HOOK spoke about his love for the business.
“I had my mind and eyes opened to pro wrestling being the perfect hybrid of my two biggest passions, between being an athlete and being creative or being an artist. So, it was very organic the way it came about and it is the purest passion in my life, 100%,” he said. [H/T: Fightful]
HOOK recently turned heel by costing Hangman Page the AEW World Championship at Full Gear. He later addressed his actions during a sit-down interview with Alicia Atout on the December 3, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite.
As for the AEW World Championship, the title will be on the line in two weeks when MJF squares off against Bandido at Dynamite: Maximum Carnage on January 14. Bandido earned the title shot by winning the Dynamite Diamond Ring.
MJF will also defend the championship on January 16 at Limitless Wrestling’s Limitless Rumble against independent standout Alec Price. The match marks MJF’s first appearance for Limitless Wrestling since September 2019, which came just one month before Dynamite first aired.
