Jey Uso is the first WWE superstar to qualify for the Men’s WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
To close out the June 17 episode of WWE RAW, Jey Uso competed in a Triple Threat Match against Finn Bálor and Rey Mysterio. In the end, Uso emerged victorious, but the match broke down in chao.
Late in the match, Rey Mysterio was just one big frog splash away from winning, but his son Dominik Mysterio came in for the late interference. Soon after, JD McDonagh also joined in on the attack, which caused Braun Strowman to come running out and chase the group over the security barricade and into the stands.
In the middle of the chaos, Mysterio was quickly dropped to the ground by Bálor, who then hit him with a Coup de Grace. Unfortunately for Bálor, Jey was waiting for that exact moment to catch him with an Uso Splash. In doing so, Uso put him down for the count.
As a result, Uso qualified for the Men’s Money in the Bank match. More qualifiers will be held in the coming weeks, starting with the June 21 episode of WWE SmackDown.
