MJF made a statement in his return promo on AEW Dynamite, and he clashed with a new foe.
Following his return at AEW Double or Nothing, MJF appeared on the June 5 episode of AEW Dynamite. The former world champion set his sights on current champion Swerve Strickland and mocked his “Mogul” nickname, noting that he must have missed his public speaking class at business school.
MJF also poked fun at AEW International Champion Kazuchika Okada, noting that he made a lot of money, but it seemed like he could not afford a gym membership. “The Generational Talent” then targeted AEW International Champion Will Ospreay. He noted that Ospreay called himself the best, but he has not beaten the list of greats that MJF has. MJ said that Ospreay was not the best in the world, as that was him.
A New Foe Emerges
MJF proceeded to highlight his own success and noted that revisionists were trying to revise history. RUSH interrupted and said that he was working hard while MJ was gone. He wondered where his big moment was, and he vowed to take MJF’s spot.
MJF responded by taking some digs at RUSH but praising his talent and speaking highly of his journey up to this point. He said that RUSH had beaten some of the best, but MJF was the best. The two stars then brawled until they were separated.
