Dalton Castle has been sidelined with an injury, and a new report provides an update.
Dalton Castle last wrestled on the July 10th episode of AEW Collision, where he lost to Roderick Strong. Tony Khan then announced that Castle was injured, and he would be out for the rest of 2024.
In an update, Dave Meltzer addressed the situation on Wrestling Observer Radio. He noted that Castle had suffered a torn biceps. (H/t Ian Carey of F4WOnline.com)
Castle was previously knocked out during his match against Strong, as he was rocked with a flying knee. Meltzer noted that the planned finish was changed, as the knock-out forced an audible to be called.
Castle is a former ROH World Champion and ROH World Television Champion. He is also a two-time ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion.
As of this writing, there is no word on how long Dalton Castle will be out of action. WrestleZone wishes him well in his recovery, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
