Another unfortunate injury has struck the All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor roster as it has been announced that Dalton Castle is out for the rest of the year.
Dalton Castle competed last Saturday night on AEW Collision, losing a match to Roderick Strong to determine the number one contender for the Ring of Honor World Championship at Death Before Dishonor. Castle lost the match, but that seems to be the least of his problems.
All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan took to social media this afternoon to announce the unfortunate news that Castle suffered an injury in that match and will be out for the rest of 2024, tweeting out:
“Some injury news that’s forced changes to the plans for this Friday’s #ROHDBD Death Before Dishonor
@theDALTONcastle was injured in his Saturday Night #AEWCollision bout last week vs @roderickstrong. Sadly Dalton will be out of action for the remainder of 2024. Get well soon DC,” Tony Khan said in a post.
It’s unknown what Dalton Castle was scheduled to do at Death Before Dishonor at this time.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Dalton Castle’s injury as it becomes available.
