Konosuke Takeshita will defend the International Championship on the AEW Collision: Homecoming special tomorrow night.
Following Katsuryori Shibata‘s win last night on Ring of Honor over Shane Taylor, he was called out for a match on AEW Collision by Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita on social media. You can check out that video in the embedded post below.
A short time later, All Elite Wrestling took to social media to announce the match was official, tweeting out:
“#AEWCollision Homecoming Sat 1/25
@dailysplace LIVE, 8pm ET/7PM CT on TNT + MAX! AEW International Title Takeshita vs Shibata After @K_Shibata2022’s #ROH100 Main Event win, Don Callis + traveling International Champion @Takesoup challenged Shibata, and they’ll Collide Saturday,” All Elite Wrestling said in a post.

- AEW International Championship: Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata
- Daniel Garcia, Daddy Magic, and Coolhand Ang vs. Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, & Roderick Strong)
- Gates of Agony vs. Brody King and Buddy Matthews
- Big Bill vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
- Mariah May and Toni Storm meet face-to-face
