Jey Uso has become one of the biggest and brightest stars in WWE, and one WWE legend thinks he’ll be a world champion soon enough.
During the most recent episode of WWE’s The Bump, JBL spoke about Uso and Gunther’s King of the Ring Tournament match on Monday’s WWE RAW. While JBL said that Uso has to learn how to win those kinds of matches, he’s confident that he’ll one day be a champion. He also praised Gunther
“Jey Uso is a great talent,” said JBL. “I believe that Jey Uso is going to be a world champion. I think Jey Uso is going to be a great world champion, but it takes a while to get there to be able to finish singles matches. Especially big singles matches, Gunther has that ability and I think that was the difference in this match. It was not necessarily ability, it was Gunther’s experience came out in this.”
Jey Uso unsuccessfully challenged Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Backlash rance.
Gunther will compete in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament. He will face Randy Orton or Tama Tonga at WWE King and Queen of the Ring. Orton will face Tonga on the May 24 episode of WWE SmackDown.
