Billie Starks vs Queen Aminata Is The Latest Match Confirmed For ROH Supercard of Honor
The crowning of the first ever ROH Women’s TV Champion is just one of many matches already confirmed for Supercard of Honor.
The first match is the ROH Women’s Championship match. Champion Athena is defending her belt against three-time AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida in a huge bout that could see the women main event the pay per view.
Meanwhile, Edide Kingston will be looking to make up for his defeat to Kazuchika Okada on AEW Dynamite. He recently lost the Continential Crown title to Okada, and will be hoping to not lose his ROH World Championship to long-time friend Mark Briscoe.
Kingston challenged Briscoe to a match on last weeks show with a promo, saying:
“Ring of Honor Supercard is coming up. it’s in the birthplace of Ring of Honor in Philly.”
“There was someone, almost a year ago, who was supposed to have a title shot at Claudio, but got injured. He never got his title shot. And that’s you, Mark. That’s you, chicken Mark Briscoe. You know this. You weren’t allowed on the first Ring of Honor show because you were 17. But you were there. Your brother Jay vs the Amazing Red.”
“We’re not gonna play with each other. We’re not gonna dance, we’re going to fight. And we’re gonna fight for the Ring of Honor World Championship, in Philadelphia, where it all started, because I respect you, Mark. And you have been there, earning this shot for years. You deserve this shot. And I want to be the man who gives you that shot.”
ROH Supercard of Honor will take place on April 5, 2024 in Philadelphia.
