Marshall Von Erich Dedicates Title Win To His Uncles, Von Erichs Thank Their Dad

The Von Erichs and Dustin Rhodes shared an emotional moment with Kevin Von Erich after their title win.

At AEW Battle of the Belts XI, Dustin Rhodes, Marshall Von Erich, and Ross Von Erich beat Undisputed Kingdom to win the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship. They then celebrated with Kevin Von Erich after the match.

In a digital exclusive, Dustin Rhodes addressed the crowd after the show went off the air and said it was a surreal moment. He said it was very special, given the legacies of the Von Erichs and the Rhodes. Rhodes told Kevin that it was an honor to be standing there with him.

Dustin said that of all the titles he had won, this one felt the best. He told Kevin that he appreciated everything he had done for the business. Kevin noted that he asked Dustin to do this, and he stepped up.

Ross then thanked his father for believing in him and Marshall. He said they wanted to pick up the torch their uncles left, finish their story, and write their own. Ross and Marshall then gave their titles to Kevin, who raised them.

The Von Erich family has dealt with plenty of tragedy over the years, as David, Kerry, Mike, and Chris all passed away over the course of a few years in the 1980s and early 1990s.
