CM Punk has officially undergone surgery for his torn triceps, and the wrestling legend is already preparing for one of the greatest comebacks ever.
During tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, a brief update was given on Punk, including a video package that showcased the superstar following his surgery. Seen wearing a large arm brace, Punk said that he knows this will be one of the toughest challenges he’s ever faced, but that he’s ready to make one of the greatest comebacks of all time.
Punk suffered the injury in the ring during the Men’s Royal Rumble, and On the January 29 episode of WWE RAW, CM Punk came to the ring to confirm the news. He vowed to overcome his injury, which he referred to as more adversity that he had been dealt. Punk also promised to keep going, and while WrestleMania 40 was not in the cards, there was always next year.
Currently, it’s unknown just how long Punk will be out of action for in the WWE ring.
