This past weekend was the Survivor Series WarGames Premium Live Event. One of the marquee matches of the night was the bout between Damage CTRL and the team of Bianca Belair, Shotzi, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch inside the WarGames cage.
The rivalry between Damage CTRL and Bianca Belair had been boiling since SummerSlam of last year. Also, last year’s opening match at Survivor Series WarGames was Damage CTRL along with Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley taking on Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Mia Yim, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss.
The EST of WWE and her team managed to pick up the victory last year. This year, Bayley and her faction were determined to even the scores. Adding to it, Damage CTRL also had a couple of new teammates in the names of Kairi Sane and Asuka.
Things seemed to be going very well for DAmage CTRL. But the victory started to fade away from them from the moment both The Man Becky Lynch and The Queen Charlotte Flair settled their differences and were on the same page. In the end, the Role Model took a finisher from every member of Bianca Belair’s team. Then, she was pinned for Team Bianca Belair to once again emerge as the victors.
After the match, Cathy Kelly caught up with the Role Model to get her thoughts on the tough loss.
“There’s no way, there’s no words, there’s nothing I could say that would give you an insight on what I am feeling right now okay? WarGames it’s bold and it’s intense. And I did everything that I could. And now I just don’t know what else I have left. So, I’m going to ice my whole body. Maybe you can find my teammates for me,” Bayley said.
