WWE NXT viewership dropped on October 17.
Wrestlenomics reports that 798,000 viewers tuned in on October 17. This number is down from last week, when 921,000 viewers watched NXT. The October 10 episode featured appearances from Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Asuka, and The Undertaker. WWE loaded up the show, as it ran head-to-head against AEW Dynamite, which was bumped out of its typical Wednesday slot due to the MLB Playoffs.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT scored a 0.23 rating on October 17. This number is also down from October 10 (0.30 rating in the same demographic).

The October 17 episode of WWE NXT was headlined by a #1 Contender’s Match for the NXT Championship; Carmelo Hayes defeated Dijak and Baron Corbin to earn a shot at the gold. Plus, Chase U won the Bada Bing Bada Boom Battle Royal. The show also featured two matches in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.
Plus, Tegan Nox battled Lyra Valkyria, and Jade Cargill made a surprising appearance at the end of the show.
