WWE NXT beat AEW Dynamite‘s viewership when the two shows clashed on October 10.
According to PWTorch, 921,000 viewers watched NXT on Tuesday. This number is up from last week, when 857,000 viewers tuned in. Tuesday’s number marked NXT’s highest since November 20, 2019 (916,000 viewers) and the third-highest ever in NXT history since the show moved to two hours on USA Network in 2019.
Meanwhile, 609,000 viewers tuned in for AEW Dynamite on Tuesday. This number is down from last week, when 800,000 viewers watched the show. Tuesday’s number marks Dynamite’s lowest viewership since May 28, 2021, when 526,000 viewers watched a pre-empted show at 10 p.m. ET.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT drew 396,000 viewers (0.30 rating), which is up from last week (0.22 rating). Dynamite scored 346,000 viewers, or a 0.26 rating, which is also down from last week (0.28 rating in the same demographic).
AEW Dynamite was up against WWE NXT on Tuesday; Dynamite was bumped from its Wednesday night slot due to the MLB playoffs. Both shows faced the MLB playoffs and NHL season openers. NXT featured appearances from John Cena, Asuka, Cody Rhods, The Undertaker, LA Knight, and other stars.

The October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite was a special “Title Tuesday” edition of the show. It featured two title matches, and both champions were crowned in both bouts. Orange Cassidy beat Rey Fenix to win the AEW International Championship. Plus, Hikaru Shida defeated Saraya to win the AEW Women’s World Championship.
In the main event, Adam Copeland made his AEW in-ring debut, as he faced Luchasaurus. Elsewhere on the show, Jay White faced Adam Page, Bryan Danielson battled Swerve Strickland, and Chris Jericho clashed with Powerhouse Hobbs.
