The current WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Champion, Rhea Ripley, is one of the hottest stars in professional wrestling right now. Her storyline with Judgment Day and, more importantly, with Dominik Mysterio has been the talk of the town for months.
The Judgment Day has been one of the most dominating factions in WWE. Dominik Mysterio has been having the best year of his career. He’s also a two-time NXT North American Champion. In a recent interview with Sporting News Australia, Rhea Ripley shared her thoughts on it. She also claimed that it was a happy accident and that they could stretch the storyline for a long time.
“I say to Dom all the time he’s not allowed to leave me, because I need him and I feel like he needs me. We didn’t know if we were going to click or get along… but I think us being so close together in age has really helped in the situation. We are on that same sort of level and it just clicks – it was something that came out of left-field… Every week that I go out there with Dom, I feel like our relationship grows to that next little step. This is just such a happy accident that has happened and it has grown into such an amazing bond and storyline… I feel like we’re only just scratching the surface… I think it could be something we can ride for a long time,” Ripley said.
Last night on Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Mami will be defending her WWE World Title in a fatal-five-way match at Crown Jewel. Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Raquel Rodriguez, and Zoey Starks will be her challengers.
