Last night was a very special edition of WWE NXT. One of the main reasons was because the Stamford-based promotion was going to head-to-head against AEW. Many top names appeared on the Black and Gold brand. One of those stars was Paul Heyman.
The Bloodline’s Wiseman made his way to the WWE Performance Center to be in the corner of Bron Breakker during his match against Carmelo Hayes. Hayes had the 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena in his corner.
Before making it to the match, Paul Heyman was spotted having a chat with Ava Raine. Raine was one of the former members of The Schism. She is also the daughter of WWE legend The Rock and it would appear that she’s looking for a new ‘family.’
Family Ties
While talking with Raine, The Wiseman was seemingly explaining to her about The Bloodline and what the faction is all about. Currently, there are only three members in the Bloodline. They are the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman. Jimmy Uso seems to be slithering his way back into the faction but to date, there has been no update from Reigns if Jimmy is accepted back into the faction.
Given the fact that Ava Raine is the daughter of The Rock, she is obviously part of the family. Thus, it makes sense for The Wiseman to attempt to recruit her. Ava Raine did seem to be interested in the idea but only time will tell.
Raine also recently said her goodbyes to NXT after Joe Gacy disbanded the Schism following the departure of the former Grizzled Young Veterans, Rip Fowler (Zack Gibson) and Jagger Reid (James Drake). The Rock’s daughter also was personally asked by Gacy to leave the group. Gacy also wants to search his own path.
