Former AEW World Trios Champion Penta El Zero M is once again hunting for tag team gold. He will be teaming up with Rey Fenix in a four-way Number One Contender’s match at the inaugural WrestleDream pay-per-view.
The event will be taking place on October 1. Unfortunately, it is on the same night he was scheduled to compete at AAA Lucha Libre’s pay-per-view Heroes Immortal. He was going to team up with Octagón Jr to take on QT Marshall and Sam Adonis. Now, the match at the AAA event has been changed. Former WWE Superstar Alberto El Patron will be taking Penta’s spot at the event.
“Due to an international commitment of @PENTAELZEROM in @AEW, we will have a new stellar fight of Immortal Heroes: The very Mexican, @PrideOfMexico, will join forces with the #1 challenger for the AAA Latin American Championship, Octagón Jr. While the USA team remains unchanged, with Sam Adonis and the AAA Latin American Champion, QT Marshall, defending the flag of the stars and stripes. We invite you to follow the transmission of Héroes Inmortales on @canalspace and @HBOMaxLA, starting at 6 pm (Mexico City Time).” AAA Lucha Libre tweeted.
This AAA appearance will mark Alberto El Patrón’s first match in the promotion since July.
As far as Penta El Zero M’s match at WrestleDream is concerned, he and Fenix are competing against three of the best teams in AEW. The teams are, The Young Bucks, Colten & Austin Gunn, and finally the team of Orange Cassidy & Hook.
Also this Saturday, WWE has a Premium Live Event. It is the NXT No Mercy PLE. One of the marquee matches of the night is Becky Lynch vs Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women’s Championship.
