AEW Collision Results – August 19, 2023
This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off with quick promos from Christian Cage, Darby Allin, Jay White, Dalton Castle, and Samoa Joe to hype up tonight’s show.
Ring of Honor World Television Champion Samoa Joe and The Golden Vampire goes to a no contest
- The Golden Vampire attacks Samoa Joe before the bell and eventually hits him with a GTS. He unmasks to reveal that it’s CM Punk who accepts Joe’s challenge for All In.
Jay White (w/ Bullet Club Gold) defeated Dalton Castle (w/ The Boys)
- Jay White hits the Bladerunner on Dalton Castle to score the pinfall victory.
We hear from Bullet Club Gold following the match, Jay White says he got a message from Kenny Omega from his hospital bed. White says if the God of Professional Wrestling doesn’t want to be exposed at All In, he better stay in bed. White says The Elite has deceived the fans to think that they are the best iteration of Bullet Club.
Juice Robinson talks down Hangman Page and says it only took them two minutes to put Omega in the hospital so what does he think they are gonna do in a match together next weekend? The Gunns run down The Young Bucks and hype up their trios match on Dynamite this Wednesday.
The Gunns and Juice Robinson demand Tony Khan send out three men right now so Bullet Club Gold can have a trios match tonight. This brings out Iron Savages.

- Juice Robinson hits an inverted DDT on Jacked Jameson to get the pinfall for his team.
A video package plays highlighting the story between The Acclaimed, Billy Gunn, and House of Black.
What kind of faction is Rush planning for AEW Collision?
A video segment plays of Jose The Assistant being yelled at on the phone by Rush. He demands the entire faction meet him in Mexico.
Tony Schiavone interviews Ricky Starks backstage. Starks clarifies that his suspension is only 28 days and he’s already served half of that. Starks says he meant what he said about bringing a war to AEW and he’s going to do it live tonight. They imply that Starks will be managing Big Bill next.
Big Bill (w/ Ricky Starks) defeated Derek Neal
- Big Bill hits a chokeslam on Derek Neal to win the match via pinfall.
Ricky Starks whips Derek Neal with a belt following the match.
Willow Nightingale defeated Diamante
- Mercedes Martinez comes down to ringside mid-match. Kris Statlander comes out later in the match to neutralize Martinez. Willow Nightingales hits the Babe with the Powerbomb on Diamante to score the pinfall victory.
A video package plays hyping up the AEW World Tag Team Title match at All In between FTR and The Young Bucks.
Toni Storm is backstage with Lexi Nair. It’s announced that Toni Storm will team with Saraya next week on AEW Rampage to take on Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida. Toni Storm says Saraya has had her back since day one and she’ll have it at All In. Storm declares she’ll become three-time AEW World Women’s Champion at All In.
Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Kevin Ku
- Powerhouse Hobbs hits a spinebuster on Kevin Ku to score the pinfall victory.
Miro and Powerhouse Hobbs will collide at AEW All Out
Hobbs applies the Game Over on Ku afterward to antagonize Miro. Miro responds on the Tron and tells Hobbs that they have a lot in common. Miro says he also used to rely on a book for guidance but now he walks alone. The Redeemer says he’s not here to feud with his God, he’s here to replace him. Miro says redemption is coming for Hobbs at All Out.

Jim Ross joins the broadcast team for the main event of the evening.
Darby Allin defeated Christian Cage (w/ Luchasaurus)
- Darby Allin reverses Christian’s Uprettier with a flipping roll-up to score the pinfall victory.
Tony Schiavone tries to interview Darby Allin after the main event but is laid out by Christian Cage and Luchasaurus as AEW Collision goes off the air.
