WWE SmackDown viewership increased with its return to FOX on December 9.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that 2.306 million viewers watched the show on Friday. This number is up from last week, when 902,000 viewers watched the show, which was moved to FS1 due to coverage of the PAC-12 Championship Game on FOX. For comparison, 2.166 million viewers watched SmackDown in its previous episode on FOX on November 25. The viewership for Friday’s episode was SmackDown’s highest number since September 23.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.57 rating, which is also up from last week (0.25 rating) and the previous FOX episode (0.54 rating).
The line chart above isn't updated. This one is.
