WWE SmackDown viewership dropped on December 2.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 902,000 viewers watched the show. This number is down from last week, when 2.166 million viewers watched the show. The December 2 episode aired on FS1 due to FOX’s coverage of the PAC-12 Championship Game.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.25 rating, which is also down from last week (0.54 rating in the same demographic). Thurston noted that SmackDown ranked fifth in the demographic among cable originals.

This week’s episode featured the finals of the SmackDown World Cup, where Ricochet faced Santos Escobar. Plus, Sami Zayn faced Sheamus, and WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther battled Kofi Kingston. Elsewhere on the show, Emma took on Shayna Baszler.
