All Elite Wrestling will deliver a star-studded episode of AEW Dynamite on October 12.
Live from Toronto, Canada, Chris Jericho will defend the ROH World Championship against Bryan Danielson. Plus, Orange Cassidy will challenge PAC for the AEW All-Atlantic Championship. Elsewhere on the show, Jungle Boy will battle Luchasaurus, among other bouts.
The results are as follows:
Renee Paquette kicks off the show and introduces Christian Cage. He calls himself the face of Canada and guarantees a victory for Luchasaurus tonight. He brings out the powerhouse.
“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry vs. Luchasaurus
Jungle Boy takes the fight to his former partner and gains the upper hand. Luchasaurus overpowers Jungle Boy and slams him to the mat. He sets up a table and goes to slam Jungle Boy through it, but the fan-favorite counters. The fan-favorite rallies and wrenches Luchasaurus’ arm around the ring post. The big man slams Jungle Boy into the barricade. He tosses his opponent onto the ring apron. Luchasaurus maintains the advantage and grounds Jungle Boy. Luchasaurus charges Jungle Boy, who ducks and sends him shoulder-first into the ring post. Jungle Boy counters a chokeslam into a hurricanrana. Jungle Boy hits a sunset flip powerbomb through a table. Christian Cage walks down the ramp and distracts Jungle Boy. Luchasaurus slams Jungle Boy to the mat and takes control.
Jungle Boy keeps fighting, but Luchasaurus continues to overwhelm him. The powerhouse gets a two count with a chokeslam. Jungle Boy drops Luchasaurus with a crucifix driver for a two count. He drops his former partner with a Poisonrana. Jungle Boy hits the Killswitch for a two count. He locks in the Snare Trap, but Luchasaurus reaches the ropes. Cage distracts Jungle Boy, and Luchasaurus capitalizes by slamming Jungle Boy for the win.

Stokely Hathaway, Ethan Page, and Jose the Assistant are backstage. Matt Hardy and Private Party show up. Hathaway announces he has freed Private Party from their contracts, as he has acquired for The Firm. Page challenges Isiah Kassidy to a match on Rampage; if Kassidy wins, they’re free of their contracts, but if Page wins, The Firm will also get Hardy’s contract.

WardJoe (Wardlow and Samoa Joe) vs. The Factory (QT Marshall and Nick Comoroto)
Before the match, Marshall makes fun of WardJoe’s name. Marshall and Comoroto try to take the fight to their opponents, but WardJoe overpowers them. Joe drills Marshall with a series of strikes. Comoroto hits Joe from behind, and the ROH World Television Champion nails him with some strikes. Wardlow tags in and drops Marshall with a headbutt. He suplexes Comoroto, who rallies and gains the upper hand. Joe and Wardlow double-team Comoroto. Wardlow hits a Swanton, and Joe chokes him out for the win.

Wardlow powerbombs Marshall after the match. Prince Nana and The Embassy confront WardJoe. Nana says WardJoe stuck their nose in The Embassy’s business. Brian Cage says they had FTR right where they wanted them until Joe and Wardlow got involved. Cage says he wouldn’t even let FTR into Canada. FTR comes to the ring and stands with WardJoe. Dax Harwood has a partner in mind for Rampage because WardJoe just had a tough day at work. FTR introduces Shawn Spears as their partner. FTR hits the Big Rig on Solo.
Backstage, Chris Jericho, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker are backstage. Parker says Bryan Danielson made this personal when he broke up their family. Jericho says Garcia is like a brother to him, and Danielson forced him to hurt Garcia. He vows to outwrestle Danielson and continue the Ring of Jericho era.
Swerve Strickland vs. Billy Gunn (with The Acclaimed)
Max Caster raps his way to the ring. Gunn takes control early on and taunts Strickland. Swerve gains the upper hand and slams Gunn into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Swerve grounds the veteran and takes his leg out with a diving kick. He targets Gunn’s leg and kicks him grounded, neutralizing his height advantage in the process. Strickland dives over the ropes and hits a diving knee drop. Gunn rallies with a spinning slam, and both men are down. Gunn clotheslines Strickland and goes for a Fameasser, but Strickland counters. He hits a leg-breaker and drops Gunn with a Flatliner. Swerve mockingly does the Scissor taunt and hits the Swerve Stomp for a two count. Strickland reverses a Cobra Clutch slam, stacks up Gunn and uses the ropes for extra leverage to clinch the win.

The Acclaimed come to the ring and check on Gunn. Mark Sterling, along with Tony Nese, comes out and interrupts The Acclaimed when they try to scissor. Sterling says he owns the trademark to the term “Scissor me” in wrestling, so The Acclaimed can’t scissor anymore. He says he’ll sue The Acclaimed if they try to scissor, but he’s open to ideas. Sterling then tells Nese to scissor him, and they do.

Backstage, MJF is asked about nearly shaking hands with Wheeler Yuta and his interaction with William Regal last week. Stokely Hathaway interrupts him and MJF says it’s an old Dynamite trope. He says it’s strike number two for Hathaway and he’ll fire him if it happens again. MJF says Regal is as villainous as Mary Poppins, and they have a dark past together. MJF says he doesn’t know if he was going to shake Yuta’s hand last week. He says people might not like him, but they don’t know what it’s like to be him. MJF says he wakes up and knows he has no choice but to be the bad guy. He says he hates who he is, but that’s what it takes to win the title.

In-Ring Segment: Jon Moxley
The AEW World Champion says it’s good to be in Toronto. He notes that plenty of people have tried and failed to beat him. Moxley says being the world champion, and some people crumple under the pressure. He calls it a dirty job and says you have to be ruthless and indiscriminate. Moxley says he loves the job and turns his attention to “Hangman” Adam Page. Hangman immediately interrupts. Page says that Moxley’s respect means the world to him. He notes that he has come to respect Moxley and calls him a hell of a champion. Page admits that, at times, he has looked at Moxley and saw the kind of man he wanted to be. MJF is seen sitting in the crowd.
Page continues by stating that Moxley shattered the illusions the former champion had about him. Page gets in his face, taking issue with the fact that Moxley called him a kid. Moxley says he does think he’s a kid; he doesn’t think Page has the guys to take him out. Page admits that he hesitated in the match where he lost the title, and he also failed when he challenged for the trios titles. He says he has watched his friends disappear, and he’s depressed and angry, but he’s here because he’s a man. Page says he keeps coming back because he’s a man. He says he has been choked out and beaten up, but he keeps coming back because he’s a man. Page knows what he has to do next week, and he says he will beat him within an inch of his life in order to win the title.

ROH World Championship: “Lionheart” Chris Jericho (c) (with Matt Menard and Angelo Parker) vs. Bryan Danielson
Danielson refuses to shake Jericho’s hand. He takes control with a series of strikes and launches Jericho out of the ring. “The American Dragon” dives through the ropes onto Jericho. Back in the ring, he punishes Jericho with more stiff blows. Jericho gains the upper hand and punches Danielson in the corner. They trade blows, and Jericho hits an avalanche hurricanrana. Danielson takes control and grounds Jericho. He kicks the champion in the chest and rocks him with a kick to the head. Jericho fights back with some chops. Danielson hits a powerslam. Jericho drops the challenger with a DDT. The champion hits a springboard dropkick and dives onto Danielson on the outside. Danielson hits an avalanche butterfly suplex. He goes for the LeBell Lock, but Jericho escapes and locks in the Walls. Danielson gets out of the hold and drills Jericho with stiff forearms. He locks Jericho in his own signature submission hold.
Danielson blasts Jericho with a kick to the head. Jericho slams Danielson to the mat. Danielson hits a leaping knee off the top rope and takes Jericho down with another. Jericho catches Danielson with a Codebreaker in mid-air for a two count. Danielson rallies and dodges the Judas Effect. The referee goes down after an accidental collision. Jericho and Danielson are down after a double clothesline. Menard gives Jericho the title belt, but Daniel Garcia runs to the ring and takes it away from him. He gets in Jericho’s face, and Danielson drops Jericho with a running knee. Garcia blasts Danielson with the title.

Jericho embraces Garcia after the match, and it turns into a JAS group hug. Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, and William Regal come to the ring to check on Danielson.
Nyla Rose is backstage, and she’s wearing the TBS Championship she stole from Jade Cargill. She says possessions is nine-tenths of the law. Anna Jay interrupts and challenges Rose to a match.
Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida vs. Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter
Shida overpowers Hayter early on. Hayter chops Shida. The former champion dropkicks Hayter and tags Storm. She drills Hayter with a series of strikes. Baker grabs Storm’s leg, and Hayter drops the champion with a big boot. Baker grounds Storm and isolates her by double-teaming her with Hayter. She chokes Storm in the corner and drops her with a shoulder block. Storm rallies and trades blows with Hayter. Shida tags in, as does Baker. Shida drops Baker with a jumping knee. She gets a two count with a Meteora. Storm drops Hayter with a face-buster. Baker takes control. She and Hayter superkick Shida. Baker gets a two count with a Stomp. Storm hits a tornado DDT and drops her piledriver. Storm takes Hayter out with a DDT at ringside. Shida hits Baker with a Falcon Arrow and stacks her up for the pin.

AEW All-Atlantic Championship: PAC (c) vs. Orange Cassidy
PAC quickly catches Cassidy with a flurry of strikes. Cassidy rallies and dives onto PAC on the outside, but the champion catches him and slams him with a Falcon Arrow. Back in the ring, PAC grounds Cassidy. He drags the challenger up the ramp and spikes him with a Tombstone. PAC comes back to the ring, and Cassidy rolls down the ramp. He makes his way back into the ring. He rallies and rocks PAC with a diving DDT through the ropes. Cassidy hits the Beach Break on the apron. PAC locks in the Brutalizer. He goes over to the timekeeper’s area and tries to use the ring bell, but Danhausen stops him. He grabs another hammer after he drops Danhausen. Cassidy drops PAC with an Orange Punch. Cassidy thinks about using it. PAC rolls him up for a two count. “Freshly Squeezed” hits two Orange Punches for the win.
