Arn Anderson has a bold prediction for AEW Revolution.
AEW’s next pay-per-view event will be Revolution on March 5. The event is set to be headlined by AEW World Champion MJF defending against Bryan Danielson in a 60-minute Iron Man match. The buzzworthy bout was confirmed on the February 8 episode of AEW Dynamite after Danielson beat RUSH, his final opponent in a series of weekly tests MJF threw at him.
Even before the match was officially set, AEW coach Arn Anderson shared his thoughts on the matchup when speaking with Steve Fall on Ten Count.
“Well, when you put yourself in a position to wrestle an hour, that alone is pretty cocky because I can count the guys on one hand who can actually do that. Do it well, that group becomes much smaller,” Anderson said. He believes Danielson has found his niche as a competitor, while MJF reminds him of himself with the confidence he exudes.
“I think it’s going to be match of the year no doubt,” Anderson stated. “Put how much stock you want in that, but I think it’s going to be at a pace you can follow. There’s going to be a story to follow. There’s going to be all kinds of drama. The best way I could probably describe it is if it shakes out what it’s capable of, it’ll have every veteran, every wrestling fan, anybody to do with wrestling talking about it for a long time.”
