A shocking title change took place on AEW Dynamite.
In the main event of the February 8 Dynamite, The Acclaimed defended their AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Gunns. Billy Gunn opted to not be at ringside for the match, but that changed halfway through.
When the referee got knocked out, Billy marched down and prevented Austin from using the tag title belt to his advantage. While they had an exchange, Colten blindsided his father with the title from behind. More shenanigans ensued as the ref made slow counts until Austin made the cover for the three-count.

This is the first title reign for The Gunns, while The Acclaimed’s run comes to an end at 141 days after they won the gold at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam in September.
