AEW Dynamite viewership saw a big increase on September 14, which featured the semi-finals of the Tournament of Champions.
According to Showbuzz Daily, 1,175,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.39 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was up from the September 7 episode when 1,035,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.38 rating in the same demographic.

With the increase in viewership, AEW Dynamite reclaimed first place in the demographic among cable originals overall last night. They defeated The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a show that continues to be their biggest rival from week to week, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off with Jox Moxley defeating Sammy Guevara to advance to the finals of the Tournament of Champions. The main event of the show saw Bryan Danielson defeat Chris Jericho to also advance to the finals of the Tournament of Champions. Moxley and Danielson will face each other next week at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam to crown the new AEW World Champion.
