AEW Dynamite Results (9/7): All Out Fallout, ROH Pure Title Match

AEW Dynamite Wild Card for the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions: Hangman Page vs. Bryan Danielson

Danielson and Page feel each other out with some holds early on. Danielson slaps Page’s chest and leaves the ring when Hangman charges him. They trade stiff chops and strikes. Hangman sends Danielson out of the ring. “The American Dragon” slams him shoulder-first into the ring post. During the break, Danielson blasts Page with a dropkick. In the ring, he stomps on Hangman’s arm. Page dumps Danielson with a fallaway slam. Hangman takes control and gets a two count with a Death Valley Driver. Danielson hits a running dropkick and takes Page down with a hurricanrana. A kick to the head earns Danielson a two count. Page slams Danielson off the top rope. He takes the fight to Danielson on the outside. “The American Dragon” rallies, and the two men trade blows. Danielson nails a running dropkick in the corner. He traps Page in the LeBell Lock, but Hangman escapes.

Danielson slams Page and goes for an arm-bar before he transitions, but Hangman escapes. Page catches Danielson with the Deadeye for a two count. Danielson hits the running knee, and Page falls out of the ring. Page catches a diving Danielson, slams him onto the apron and goes for the Buckshot Lariat, but Danielson rolls him up for the win.

Winner: Bryan Danielson

A taped promo from Jungle Boy notes that he’ll be waiting while Christian Cage is recovering from his surgery. He says he carried Christian Cage on his back and notes that he has been freed of a massive anchor. He vows to destroy Cage.

Stokely Hathaway, Ethan Page, Austin and Colten Gunn, Lee Moriarty, and W. Morrissey come out. Hathaway says All Out was the greatest night of his career. A stagehand tries to tell him that he’s low on time, and the group attacks him. Morrissey blasts him with a big boot.

Pure Rules Match for the ROH Pure Championship: Wheeler Yuta (c) vs. Daniel Garcia

The two men feel each other out with technical holds, and they’re evenly matched. Garcia takes control, but Yuta rallies with a diving elbow drop. They trade chops, and Yuta suplexes Garcia. Garcia slaps him and suplexes the champion. He blasts Yuta with a lariat. Garcia suplexes Yuta multiple times and holds onto the champion’s waist to maintain his grip. Yuta fires back with his own German suplexes. Both men are down after a German suplex off the top rope. Garcia drops Yuta with a superplex, and again both men are down. They trade strikes, and Garcia wins the exchange. He lockd in a Sharpshooter, but Yuta reaches the ropes. Yuta punches Garcia with a closed fist and gets a warning. Garcia rolls through and locks in the Dragon Tamer, but Yuta escapes and locks in a crossface. Garcia kicks out of the Seatbelt and locks in the Dragon Tamer again. Yuta taps out, so Garcia wins the bout.

Winner and new ROH Pure Champion: Daniel Garcia

Bryan Danielson comes to the ring, and Yuta shakes hands with Garcia. Danielson wraps the title around Garcia’s waist and raises his hand. Chris Jericho comes to the stage, looking quite upset with what has just transpired.
