Ricochet won’t be at WWE SmackDown on April 8.
The WWE Intercontinental Champion shared the news in a tweet on Friday. In a previous post, he thanked WWE for letting him spend time with his son this weekend. He also vowed to be back “better than ever” next week.

“The One and Only” successfully defended the Intercontinental Championship against Angel and Humberto on WrestleMania SmackDown last Friday, but he didn’t appear on either night of the two-day event.
Ricochet won the gold by beating Sami Zayn on the March 4 episode of WWE SmackDown.
