The Rock Kicks Off Super Bowl LVI With Electrifying Promo At SoFi Stadium

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave Super Bowl LVI an electrifying opening, as only he could.

First, he was featured in a special video package on the pre-show, in which he hyped up the significance of the NFL’s biggest game of the year.

Then, “The Great One” came to the field at SoFi Stadium, where he delivered a promo reminiscent of his days as a WWE star. “The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment” introduced both teams and stated that it was “finally” time for the game to begin.

Prior to his legendary career, Johnson had an unsuccessful venture in the CFL after his collegiate career as a Miami Hurricane. He is now the owner of the XFL, the league founded by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
