Hangman Page will defend the AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming.
The match, which was confirmed by AEW President Tony Khan ahead of the December 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, will see two of the company’s top stars clash with the world title on the line. Since his AEW debut at the All Out pay-per-view, Danielson has swiftly climbed his way up the ladder, and he earned a shot by winning the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament.
Page won the gold by dethroning his bitter rival, Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear. Now, though, he’ll have to do what all champions do and defend it, and his first opponent is going to be one of the toughest he could possibly have. AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming will take place on December 15, 2021, in Garland, Texas, and it will be broadcast live on TNT.
