Kenny Omega retained the AAA Mega Championship against Andrade El Idolo, but not without the help of a crooked referee. In what has to be the wrestling surprise of TripleMania XXIX, Ric Flair accompanied Andrade El Idolo to the ring as Konnan accompanied Kenny Omega. It was weeks ago when Kenny requested the officiating of official Tirantes and it ended up playing in his favor as the fast counts were ever prevalent for The Cleaner. The delayed counts occurred several times for Andrade and both Flair and Konnan got involved in the match which led to both Andrade and Flair locking in stereo figure four leg locks on their adversaries. Omega ended up securing the victory when he nailed the One Winged Angel on Andrade and the fast count was administered by Tirantes.
Kenny lost his IMPACT Worlc Championship against Christian Cage on the premiere of AEW Rampage the evening before, but Omega can still technically be called the belt collector after TripleMania XXIX.
