Andrade El Idolo has shared more information about his injury.
On November 28, Andrade revealed that he had surgery for a torn pectoral. He noted that he suffered the injury a few months ago, but he kept working because he loves the business. Additional details were not provided in this post.
In an update, Andrade posted a clip from the match where he got injured, and it’s from the trios bout on the August 17 episode of AEW Dynamite, where Andrade, RUSH, and Dragon Lee faced Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson). Andrade noted that the injury occurred during the six-man suplex early in the bout, but he wanted to finish the match. Omega and the Jackson brothers scored the victory and advanced in the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament.

Andrade hasn’t wrestled since the AEW All Out pay-per-view, where he competed in the Casino Ladder Match. He was scheduled to face Preston Vance (10) on the October 7 episode of AEW Rampage, but the match was canceled. Andrade was reportedly sent home after he got into a backstage altercation with Sammy Guevara.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
