After The Iconic defeated The Boss ’n’ hug Connection at WrestleMania 35 to shock the world, rumors quickly began to fl that both Sasha Banks and Bayley were angry with the result. According to a variety of reports, the duo were quick to share their frustration with the locker room, and with the WWE. According to The Iconic, however, that isn’t true at all.
Speaking to Express Sport, Peyton Royce noted that Banks and Bayley were both very happy for the duo following WrestleMania 35. “Immediately after the match we were all in tears, all crying. Just filled with emotion, we got pictures together which we then posted on our Instagram,” she said. “I mean, I know there’s all these rumours going around and we didn’t see anything.”
According to Royce, everyone in the ring was excited for the group, and that any rumors to the contrary isn’t what they’re hearing. “We had a great experience with them and it holds a really special place in our hearts. You can find them [pictures], we’re all embracing each other.”
