Bayley says Sasha Banks and Naomi are killing it, and they’re going to take over no matter what they do next.
Banks and Naomi walked out of the May 16 episode of WWE RAW, reportedly due to creative frustrations. They were subsequently stripped of their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and suspended from the company. While WWE is under new management now in the aftermath of Vince McMahon’s retirement, Banks and Naomi remain absent.
During an appearance on In The Kliq, Bayley was asked about the situation, given her friendship with Banks. She stated that she can’t say much about it because she wasn’t there, but she emphasized that the dup are doing great things now.
“It’s hard to give any thought since I wasn’t personally there,” Bayley said. “No matter, even if I was there, no one’s gonna understand their mindset or understand whatever happened besides Sasha and Naomi. So it’s hard for me to give any type of insight on that because I’m not really sure.
“All I know is that what they’re doing now is killing it. I’ve been able to spend some time with them, and they’re models, they’re actresses, they’re singers. They’re amazing. Anywhere they go, no matter what they do, I support them, and they are going to take over everywhere, take over the world. Whatever they wanna do, they’re gonna do great.
“The Role Model” also discussed the way that Banks and Naomi have ventured into modeling; they walked the runway at New York Fashion Week and stated that she was proud of them.
“I was no nervous for them,” said Bayley. “I felt like a mom or something. I’ve watched them win the women’s tag team titles at WrestleMania, but it felt different watching them come out on that runway for such a big deal and something that they both really wanted to do and felt passionate about. Super proud of them, and it was so fun. I had a great time.”
As for the duo’s potential return to WWE, Bayley made it clear that she’ll “kick their ass” if they come back.
“If they ever do return, I’m just gonna kick their ass,” Bayley said. “Can I say that? They might be scared to come back. Might want to stay on the runway.”
The WWE RAW star also commented on Banks recently being the victim of a car break-in in Oakland and noted that she’ll get her friend’s bag back of she can.
“She was here for some work stuff, and she was warned that something could happen. We all know how Oakland can be, but I was a little optimistic about it. I’m like, ‘You’ll be fine.’ Luckily it wasn’t anything important, but it still sucks, you know, and just to have to deal with the rental car being cracked window and have to deal with that and insurance and all that stuff, so if anybody has any information, you tell me. I’m gonna show up personally and I’m gonna get that bag back.
