Zack Sabre Jr. Injury Update
According to Ryan Satin from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Zack Sabre Jr. will be back in time to compete at the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. However, Sabre will not be in action for the PWG show tomorrow in Germany.
Sabre’s forearm was cut open during his match with Big Daddy Walter at wXw. He sustained the injury after crashing into a ring post. The match was terminated and he was taken to the hospital where he received five stitches.
The injury is reportedly healing well and his next scheduled match is on June 12th against Kurt Angle at a Revolution Pro event. Sabre issued a statement and you can read the statements below:
“This is the first injury in my 12-year career that has deemed it necessary to cancel dates, and whilst I have absolutely no desire to miss any in-ring time I’m remaining positive that the injury wasn’t more serious.”
“I’m going to make the most of some rare downtime with my family, a chance to rest and refresh my body, start home-brewing my own kombucha, alphabetise my record collection and prepare myself mentally and physically for the biggest summer of my career.”
