In Ring Segment: Seth Rollins
Rollins says Miz took him to the limit last night. In the end, Rollins stepped on Miz’s dreams of tying the record for IC title reigns. Rollins says he is going to be a fighting champion. Rollins issues an open challenge for the IC title tonight. Mojo Rawley comes out and kills the show and the crowd. Shocking, right? Rawley declares that this is no longer Monday night Rollins, it’s Monday night Rawley. The crowd chants we want Ryder as this is happening.
Intercontinental Championship Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs Mojo Rawley
Rollins dumps Rawley to the outside. Rollins misses a dive. Rawley shoulder blocks Rollins. Rawley pounces Rollins into the barricade. After the break, Rawley slaps Rollins around the ring. Rollins tries to fire up with a few chops. Rawley shuts Rollins down with a kick to the gut. Rawley charges in but Rollins complete shots him into the turnbuckle. Rollins knocks Rawley to the outside. Suicide dive by Rollins. Rollins hits another dive.
Rollins blast Rawley with the blockbuster for a near fall. Rollins misses a springboard knee. Rawley destroys Rollins with a spine buster. Seated superkick bu Rollins. Rawley kicks out again. Rawley hits a modified version of Wasteland for another near fall. Rawley gets in the referees face. Running tackle by Rawley. Rollins responds with a superkick and the Curb Stomp for the win!
