NXT Women’s Championship Match: Ember Moon (c) vs Shayna Baszler
Baszler goes behind Moon. Moon counters into a waist lock of her own. Baszler trips Moon. Moon gets up and gets in Baszler’s face. Moon misses a superkick. Baszler almost locks in theKirifuda Clutch. Moon escapes and hits three dropkicks in a row. Baszler retreats to the outside. Moon hits a topé suicida on Baszler. Moon tries her front flip clothesline. Baszler catches Moon and flips her in to a high knee. Baszler steps on Moon’s hand. Baszler rears back and kicks Moon in the elbow. Moon’s arm bends in a way that is isn’t meant to. Moon lets out a primal scream as she clutches at her contorted arm. Baszler stomps on Moon’s arm before locking an armbar. Baszler taunts Moon. Moon slaps Baszler. Moon kicks Baszler in the gut, then in the face.
Springboard cross body by Moon. Baszler kicks out. Moon elbows Baszler in the corner. Moon goes up top. Moon hits the Eclypse. Moon writhes in pain in the process. Baszler looks to be out. Moon can’t make the cover. The referee calls for the medical staff to come check on Moon. Baszler is still out in the ring. Moon tells the Medical staff to leave. Moon slowly moves towards Baszler. Moon tries to pick up Baszler but Baszler locks her in an armbar. Moon eventually makes it to the ropes. Baszler pulls Moon back to the center of the ring and locks the armbar back in. Moon manages to flip Baszler but Baszler will not let go. Moon rolls again. Baszler is relentless. Moon manages to get to her stomach and roll on top of Baszler. Baszler is trapped! Moon gets the three count!
Winner and STILL NXT Women’s Champion, Ember Moon!
After the match, Baszler is in the ring, totally dejected. The medical staff starts to help Moon to the back. Baszler goes nuts and puts Moon in the Kirifuda Clutch. Moon is out.
