WWE taped night two of the Mae Young Classic this Friday at Full Sail University in Orlando, and we now have a look at the final round of this year’s 32-woman tournament.
As expected, Japanese sensation Kairi Sane advanced to the finals after victories over Bianca Belair and Dakota Kai. She will be joined by former UFC fighter and “Four Horsewoman” member Shayna Baszler, who picked up surprise wins over Mia Yim and tournament favorite Candice LaRae.
Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Sara Del Rey, the assistant head coach at the WWE Performance Center, came to the ring at the end of the night to congratulate Kairi and Shayna on making it to the finals of the inaugural Mae Young Classic. The tournament will begin airing on the WWE Network starting with all 16 first round matches on August 28th.
