Mick Foley
As noted earlier, Mick Foley worked last night’s WWE Roadblock pay-per-view after it was originally reported he would be taking time off from WWE TV.
It was said Foley was undergoing hip replacement surgery, and he was supposed to have the weekend off, but ended up being added to WWE Roadblock.
Pro Wrestling Sheet, who broke the news of Foley taking a sabbatical, is now reporting the reason Foley was in Pittsburgh was because of a previously scheduled charity event (a Connor’s Cure charity event at Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital) in the city. A WWE rep told PWSheet:
“Mick was in Pittsburgh for a previously scheduled charitable event and decided to work tonight. He will now work tomorrow and then take time off until Jan 2.”
