Justin LaBar:

Finally a little bit of NXT action. Nakamura, your boy, wins the NXT Championship back in Osaka, Japan against Samoa Joe, just two weeks after dropping it to Joe at Takeover Toronto. Why?

Juice Springsteen:

I think it’s odd. I don’t know what their full plan was, but I can see why he would win it back in Japan and do his thing.

Justin LaBar:

You think that was the plan prior to the Toronto match?

Juice Springsteen:

It’s weird to me. It just makes you think that maybe the Toronto match makes you believe that anything can happen at Takeover, and it was just a cheap way for Joe to win, so they’re just doing it to feel it out maybe. And especially with the recent results of Joe last night in Australia, where he lost to Nakamura in a cage match, which may be it for Joe in NXT and could be headed to Smackdown.

Justin LaBar:

Yeah. When I saw Nakamura won the title back in Osaka, Japan, my first thought, Samoa Joe fans was that Joe was nearing Raw or Smackdown because when Joe beat Nakamura in Toronto, I said I was okay with it. It kind of made sense for Joe to win in order to keep the feud going. If Nakamura won again, then it would have been like, what’s the point? But they obviously needed those two to anchor NXT and to move forward; but now that they have Nakamura win it back again, that says to me that some shuffling has been going down in the war room, and Vince McMahon is giving the signal that Samoa Joe is coming, whether it be Royal Rumble or some other capacity.

Juice Springsteen:

The timing is perfect for the Royal Rumble, where anyone comes out, surprises and everything. Do you think he comes out on Raw or Smackdown?

Justin LaBar:

Smackdown already has some good quality heels.

Juice Springsteen:

My thing is, the more people you put on Smackdown, even if they fit, is only two hours. But if he goes to Raw he might get lost in the shuffle because there is so many talent there.

Justin LaBar:

You’re damned if you do, and damned if you don’t. That’s the wrestling business, isn’t it?
