Terry Funk Health Update
Despite doctors orders that he should be restricted to his home Terry Funk did appear at Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore this past Saturday night in Philadelphia. He did have to leave the venue early due to serious health issues he’s battling.
According to F4Wonline.com Funk is already doing better and is back home in Amarillo, TX. He is scheduled to meet with his doctors next week to get clearance to leave his home to do other activities.
Dave Meltzer also noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Funk had painful hernia surgery last Monday. Despite the intense pain and doctors orders not to leave his home he took a 4 am flight from Texas to New York Friday night to appear at Dreamer’s House of Hardcore. In total there was a period of time that Funk was awake for 24 hours straight until he managed to fall asleep around 4 am the next day after driving in to Philadelphia. Funk worked the weekend because he did not want to miss a booking for Dreamer. He then left the venue a minute after doing an in-ring promo for the live crowd.
Jerry Lawler Works New Role During RAW Pre-Show
During RAW’s Pre-Show last night Jerry Lawler worked as the backstage interviewer. He was not in Stamford, CT where he has regularly been seen recently as part of the RAW Pre-Show panel alongside Booker T, Lita and Scott Stanford.

Lawler’s new role may only be temporary as last night’s RAW was in Memphis, TN where Lawler has a new bar and grille that he just opened. He was promoting a RAW after party there during the Pre-Show and the following photos were posted after RAW from his new restaurant:
