Seth Rollins’ music hits and the crowd goes nuts. Rollins makes his way to the ring to address the crowd. Rollins says he has been waiting 200 days. He has been envisioning what it would be like to step back in ‘his’ ring once again. For seven months he has been waiting to take back the title he never lost. At Extreme Rules, he fired the first shot (by attacking Reigns). A loud thank you Rollins chant breaks out after a photo of Rollins hitting the pedigree on Reigns is plastered on the ‘tron. Rollins asks the crowd if the missed him. The crowd says yes. Rollins says it wasn’t always that way. The WWE Universe used to say he was the weakest WWE champion ever. They said he hid behind The Authority at every turn. They discredited every ounce of effort he put into his title reign.
Then something happened. Rollins knee buckled… under the weight of carrying this company on his back. He almost drowned in the amount of get-well cards and gifts he got while in the hospital. Rollins didn’t open a single letter. He put it all in a trash can and lit it on fire. Rollins says he doesn’t care if they cheer him or boo him. He isn’t here for them. He is there to win back the title he never lost. Roman Reigns comes out and gets in the ring. Rollins leaves the ring as soon as Reigns enters it. Shane McMahon runs down to the ring. Rollins slowly gets back in the ring. Shane runs down the history between Rollins and Reigns. Shane announces that Reigns will defend the WWE title against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank.
