Lai’D Tapa’s MMA Debut Result

Former TNA Knockout Lai’D Tapa made her MMA debut earlier this morning when she took on Brazilian jiu-jitsi artist Gabi Garcia in Rizin. Tapa was able to land a big right hand early in the match and actually knocked Garcia off her feet. It should be noted that Garcia is a much larger opponent than Tapa and has also been the subject of PED rumors for most of her jiu-jitsu career.

Ultimately Tapa would be overtaken by a swarm of punches and would eventually wind up on the ground as the victim of short hammer fists. Her defeat came within the first round of the contest.

Two WWE Superstars Train At Battle Arts

WWE Superstar Zack Ryder posted the following tweet featuring a photo of himself and The Miz working out at Santino Marella’s Battle Arts Academy:
