Mexico’s AAA promotion will begin taping its new wrestling series in late August for a debut on the El Rey Network. The show was originally supposed to begin taping on August 24th, but that might get pushed back a few days.
The first season of the show, which will be eight episodes, is set to air this fall, and former ROH star Ricky Reyes, along with a few former WWE stars have signed on for the project. Former WWE creative team member Chris “Big Dick Johnson” DeJoseph is a producer for the show, and it’s being said some of the pitches for the project are “really out there” compared to traditional wrestling shows.
