This is how things stand right now to clear up any rumors:
Steve Austin is all but confirmed for WrestleMania 21. He is on great terms with WWE and Vince McMahon and almost everyone knows he’ll be a part of ‘Mania this year.
As it stands right now (and this could and probably will change), The Rock is not scheduled for WrestleMania 21. Rock pitched an idea several months ago about him working with Sting in a special match. As time went on, Rock’s contract was about to expire and hadn’t even been asked by WWE management to renew it. This upset Rock and an agreement has yet to be reached.
Speaking of Sting, there is no update on him appearing at WrestleMania. The idea was originally thought up by Rock so without him there, it’s not likely we’ll see Sting this year.
Hulk Hogan has been in talks with WWE recently and will likely appear at Mania. Vince and Hogan always start talks in early January and continue for the three months leading into WrestleMania. Things could change but as it stands now, Hogan will be there.
Bret Hart, no chance this year despite anything you may have heard. That’s all there is to it folks.
Mick Foley is scheduled to be a part of WrestleMania, possibly working a tag match.
As far as Hall of Fame inductees, we don’t have any just yet. Hulk Hogan had been rumored but he may play another role in the show.
On behalf of everyone at this website, we want to send our condolences to the family and friends of Johnny Carson. He was one of the pioneers in late night television and will always be remembered. He really did touch a lot of peoples hearts. It’s been a tough week as I also lost my good friend in a car accident last Thursday morning.
