Steve Austin was on the Best Damn Sports Show Period on Tuesday. Here is a quick report.
-Austin was there to promote his new movie with WWE films, The Condemned. He never got to say anything regarding the flick due to host John Salley cracking jokes.
-Salley asked if Austin was planning to follow in the foot steps of The Rock as a movie star? Austin said he was doing his own thing and Rock is doing his.
-When Salley asked Austin about working with Adam Sandler on their new movie The Longest Yard, Austin said Sandler was great to work with and had a lot of fun doing the movie.
-Salley then brought out an Austin cardboard cutout and started goofing on Austin’s injuries. Salley said that Austin had neck problems but then turned around and said he spent time on the injury list for a bruise on his arm.
-Austin said that he pretty much only gets along with Vince McMahon when “it’s time to get things done.”
-Austin also sent out his best wishes to McMahon on a speedy recovery on his recent injures.
-That was about all that was said.
