The time after WrestleMania 42 is usually when new stars get noticed, and the April 20, 2026, episode of WWE RAW proved that again. Sol Ruca made a surprise debut and went straight after the Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan.
Morgan was celebrating in the ring when Ruca’s music hit. Ruca has already made a name on NXT, and the WWE crowd was excited to see her.
Sol Ruca confronts Liv Morgan before an impromptu match on RAW
Ruca didn’t come in aggressively. She showed respect, praised Morgan’s journey, and even said Morgan inspired her. But things changed soon after.
The WWE Women’s Champion responded with a bit of attitude. She thanked Ruca but made it clear she didn’t belong in her spotlight, saying she was “no Liv Morgan.” Morgan then told her to leave if she wanted to make it to next year’s WrestleMania. Ruca didn’t back down. She said she wasn’t looking for a fight, but she wouldn’t run either.
That’s when Adam Pearce came out and made a match between them right on the spot.
The match that followed was very competitive, with “This is awesome” and “Holy sh*t” chants from the crowd.
Ruca showed off her high-flying skills, hitting moves like a standing moonsault, a German suplex, and her Sol Snatcher. She even landed a big dive outside the ring that took out members of Judgment Day, who were trying to interfere.
But things didn’t go her way in the end.
With the referee distracted, Zaria interfered and attacked Ruca. She slammed her into the ring post and hit a strong spinebuster outside. Even though Ruca made it back into the ring, she was already hurt.
Morgan took advantage and finished her with Oblivion to win the match.
Even though Ruca lost, her debut still made a massive impact. She held her own against the champion and impressed the fans, who chanted her name during the match.
Later, Vaquer came out to confront Morgan, hinting at a potential match in the future. At the same time, Ruca’s feud with Zaria will continue, as they will face each other in a Last Woman Standing match on NXT.
