The fallout from the March 20 episode of WWE SmackDown is still being felt, as Drew McIntyre has shared an injury update after his huge fall with Jacob Fatu.
Last week, McIntyre and Fatu had fought throughout the three-hour episode. Their fight spread out all over the arena, from the parking lot to the ringside and backstage.
McIntyre attacked Fatu in the parking lot, smashed him through a car windshield, and left him bloodied. Later, Jacob Fatu returned and slammed the Scotsman through the announce table. Even backstage, officials couldn’t keep them apart. The fight kept restarting as chaos reached a fever pitch.
In the final segment, McIntyre and Fatu fought on top of a scaffold while security and Nick Aldis tried to stop them. After exchanging some blows, McIntyre slipped and pulled Fatu down with him, and both men fell off the structure.
Now, McIntyre has spoken out.
Drew McIntyre posts video showing bandaged hand after SmackDown fall
He posted a video on X showing his injured hands. They looked bruised and swollen, with cuts and discoloration. His whole hand and wrist were wrapped in tape, and his fingers looked stiff and bloodied.
McIntyre, however, showed his resilience by captioning the post, “Still here.”

This update makes the whole situation feel even more real.
This rivalry has been building for months. It started back in January 2026, when McIntyre defeated Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, with Fatu playing a role in the outcome. Since then, Fatu has claimed he is responsible for both McIntyre’s success and his future downfall.
Fatu had also interfered when McIntyre fought Cody Rhodes again, eventually costing the Scottish Psycopath his WWE Championship. Later, the former WWE Champion tried to take his revenge by attacking Fatu during his match with Trick Williams.
Now, there are talks of a possible Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 42. With McIntyre already showing signs of injury, the stakes are even higher.
